In addition, the products are used in research with opiate receptors that have the potential to improve treatments for conditions ranging from alcoholism to rheumatoid arthritis.

ImmunoStar’s customer base includes researchers from major universities, hospitals, corporations and other institutions in the U.S. and worldwide. The immunohistochemical products are sold directly as well as through an international network of over 20 distributors. Twenty-five percent of the products are sold internationally.
